  • After visiting Olvera Street, we walked to Phillipes for lunch...a famous Los Angeles landmark cafe famous fo their 9 cent cup of coffee and french dip sandwiches.
Then we walked over to Union Station where our "photographer" was waiting :)

  • i love the sombrero. thanx willy.

we got to go in and look at the oldest house. very simple, but comfortable for the families back then, i'm sure.

thanks so much willy for being such a good hostess showing me around your beautiful state.

we went and visited the home where willy grew up. the new owner drove up while we were there, and let us come in. now that would never have happened back here in maryland. lol i'm sure she enjoyed hearing the history of the home and was impressed to meet the original owner.

willy showed me her high school, and where she got married. chuck norris went to her high school, but he was ahead of her some grades. i even saw where he used to live.

i think i'm all out of order in telling about our trip willy, but i'm still so excited about meeting you and being there in california, and touring different parts.
