    I love Madison too...Madison is a she and she's 2 years old and full of energy...she loves her grandma, I play catch with her every time I go over there and I bring her treats....that's all it takes and we're friends for life! Aren't animals wonderful?

  • Hi, Willy, just popped in to say hello. It's raining cats and dogs here in Vancouver today... :-) But it hasn't rained in a while so we needed it.

    I refuse to wear a jacket after the middle of June, until at least the middle of September, so I will probably freeze (or drown) on my way home after work.

    Funny...I never thought of Princess Diana when I mentioned my middle name. She was a beautiful person both inside and out and her death was such a tragedy.
    I'm sorry to hear about all the rain your having in Ohio also...what's with all the rain? We could use some here in California...
    I have a dear friend in Powell, OH. We were neighbors in Bad Nauheim, Germany in 1975 and stay in touch to this day.

    What a sweet thing to say...and I did visit your daughter's blog yesterday...she's done a good job! I invited her to take a look at the pets I have posted on my blog.

    Ada will be here in California next week for a visit...not sure how many days but I arranged to be off for 3 days to spend some time with her...not sure yet what we'll do but probably head to the coast where it is cooler...supposed to be about 100 today...YUKKY!

    we went from extreme flooding here in maryland to a heat & humidity wave now. i've been in most of last week getting over a summer cold. i think they're worse than winter colds.

    my daughter, who lives in california, has been telling me about the fires there because of the heat. she can see the mountains from where she lives. it's been working with the helicopters pouring water on the fires. hope things cool off for you a bit.

    i love the name madison for a pet or person.

    Hello Sylvia...I'm sorry to hear about your yukky weather...I guess it's yukky just about everywhere. Those fires were really bad...we even had one not too far from where I live...Hwy 58 Carrissa Plains/California Valley.
    Madison was named after a friends dog...it does fit her. My dog's name was Samantha and we called her Sam...now my neighbor has a dog named Samantha and I'm like a second mommy to her...she comes to visit me often...probably because I buy her "doggie cookies".

    hi belizegial, the movie is "how stella got her groove back." i guess that means she didn't lose it, per se, but had to get back in the swing of things, and she did with the young'un. *lol* i saw a few scenes here and there, but have never watched the whole movie.

    my word is kdgospyv. maybe the reason i'm having such a hard time is because of the "spy" in the "kdg." remember, the kgb is a spy organization from some of the tv shows, even though this one is "kdg." ok, i'm just being silly.

    My gosh it's hot here. It was over 40 degrees just up the Valley. That's 110 degrees F. in America. Phew.... Don't ever let anyone tell you it doesn't get hot in Canada.
