You're right Neva, I guess I'm too trusting...so I've removed the pics of my grandaughters. My only problem is that most of the pics I take have them in it...guess I'll have to crop them out. Glad you all like my new look :) Neva, I like your dancing kitty...how is that done? I'm between a BBQ and fireworks so gotta go for now...will check in later.
Willy, The hat fooled me! LOL You have great pictures on your blog, and U are soo up to date! Did the car show have wine tasting? Anything old doesn't need as much paint when the viewer has imbibed! LOL Tschuess Ellen
I was just feeling silly with all of the talk about Leslie growing her hair out...this came to me out of the blue...
Ellen Yeah, I don't usually wear a hat so I can see how you were fooled :) Sorry about Germany's loss against Italy....it was so sad to watch the players laying on the field at the end of the game. They played with their heart and soul. The car show didn't have wine tasting but there are tasting rooms nearby...they did serve lots of delicious foods and had some great oldies music to dance and listen to.
Thanks for the instructions Neva, I'll check it out when I get some free time.
Today is my grandaughters 6th birthday so we're going to a restaurant for dinner...her choice...Chinese buffet...this one loves sushi!
Hi Willy, Oh well, can't win them all. Same goes for Brazil, the strongest cup contender. They are the only country that has attended all 18 World Cups, and lead over all other countries by winning 6 times. On 7/9 Italy vs France, I assume there won't be much interest, except from Franny. Brenda mentioned her meeting with a soccer player. I met Pele downtown Frankfurt, when he was there for the World Soccer cup. A couple years later, in 1980, he was at the Akron Soap Box Derby. My son John was a counsellor for the Y camp where the international participating youngsters and the attending celebrities, including Pele, were staying. Pele recognized me! His name is a must to know for crossword puzzles, LOL. Going to the "Garden Party" tonight? Enjoy the wine and concert. TGIF!!!! Ellen
Hi Ellen I love your story about Pele...my uncle also knew him as my uncle played soccer in Holland in his younger days. I'm leaving in a few to watch daughter Lisa play her little heart out...she absolutely loves the game! I'll post a few pics here later. The "Garden Party" was very relaxing last night. The music was Big Band/Benny Goodman type. A wonderful way to unwind after a long day. I'm so glad the weekend is here. I better get going now...have a great weekend everyone.
Hi Willy, Lisa probably has great legs from all the soccer playing! When at the hospitals I always took the stairs instead of the elevator. Sometimes another Doctor would run after me, just to watch my legs. They had never seen calf muscle definition on a woman's legs before (at least that is what they told me). Often by the 5th floor I would leave them "in the dust", even though I wore high heels! LOL Keep on with your great weekend, you certainly make the most out of it. Ellen OOOXXOO
Just wandering around your blog page to look at the photos which I missed seeing the last time around.
I am getting to know your area of the world really well through your beautiful photography. I especially like the Bonafante garden photos. Clean and beautiful.
Came across some information recently on healthy foods which had something to do with wine. I will be forwarding this to you today via e-mail so you can see what the 'cited authorities' are saying about wine drinking~lol~
Thanks Enid... I'll be looking for that e-mail from you...I've always heard that a little red wine is good for you. Also...glad you are enjoying my pictures...I have fun taking them.
