  • Hi girls! I'm SO jealous but just wait. Hoping for September and trying to get Suzanne to join us. Have fun and stay cool. I'm just back from aquacises and have to go shower and do hair. Then an afternoon of gardening and reading. Oh God...swabytl...I think.

    Glad you all enjoyed the pics...
    It's finally cooling off all over the state and we needed the relief badly. Today's high is expected to reach 89...I can handle that. We've had temperatures over 95 for the entire month of July and over 100 for many of those days.

    I hope you will get Suzanne to join us in California...I'll send her an e-mail and invite her also.

    Cheryl, You worked in Monterey? Interesting...I love that city. Ada's childhood friend works in the Monterey Public Library and Linda visits there often to do her family research. Maybe you could join us someday too? Just let us know and we'll work something out.

    Have a great weekend...I'm waiting for my friend to pick me up...we're going to a small family owned winery to put labels on a private collection...that's my kind of fun :)
